Rake facts

What is Rake?

Rake is a fee paid to Paf when you play at a table. There are different rakes in different games, for example cash game rakes are different from tournament rakes. In tournaments a fixed rake is paid in connection with the buy-in. The basic payment structure is 10+1, where 10 goes to the prize pool and 1 is the rake.

In cash games, the rake is calculated individually for each hand once the hand has been played. The rake is determined by which game is played as well as the size of the blinds and the prize pot. Different rake limits are applied depending on the size of the blinds and the game played.
